Baoqing Road Hotel
Designed by Italian ACPV — A Chic Hotel and New Landmark for West Downtown Taipei
Baoqing Road Hotel is located at the Ximen roundabout in Ximending, which is the most bustling area in west Taipei. It hums with the energy of pedestrians and traffic, similar to Shibuya, Tokyo (Japan). This hotel is a key revitalization project for the area as world-famous Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), the appointed design team for Bulgari Hotels, was chosen to design the building. Elegant in its simplicity, a feeling of luxury is built into the hotel. From the Italian kuru grey granite exterior and delicate curtain wall detailing to the lighting that reflects different architectural angles, ACPV has presented a refined aesthetic that fuses traditional Milanese luxury with modern minimalism.
